Bill Albus

Bill Albus is a committed personal trainer based at the Affton location, specializing in strength training, weight loss, functional fitness, sports conditioning, and hypertrophy. Bill is certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and holds an additional certification as a NASM Certified Nutrition Coach.

Bill’s journey into fitness is anchored in a lifelong engagement with sports, having been an athlete in rugby and wrestling. His transition from athlete to trainer was inspired by the influential international coaches he met during his sports career, motivating him to mentor others in their fitness journeys.

Bill connects with his clients by sharing experiences and discussing fitness goals, believing that talking about aspirations is a powerful motivator. His approach is to encourage clients to set clear targets and consistently work towards them, embodying the mantra “Go one more” by Nick Bare, which emphasizes perseverance and pushing beyond perceived limits.

Outside of training, Bill enjoys MMA, rugby, running, spending time with his dogs, savoring good food, and watching sports. His diverse interests and background in competitive sports enrich his training approach, making him a dynamic and motivational presence for his clients at Club Fitness.
