Jim Longenecker is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer at Club Fitness in Maplewood, specializing in strength training, mobility, and functional fitness. With additional certifications in Yoga and Pilates, Jim is passionate about motivating people to move and maintain an active lifestyle. His fitness journey began in the 70s with karate, where he earned a Brown Belt, and running, reflecting his long-standing commitment to personal fitness.
Jim’s approach to training emphasizes the potential for activity at any age. He connects with clients by demonstrating that with a solid program, it’s possible to enjoy vitality well into later years. His favorite mantra, “Where you give up is where you end up,” encapsulates his philosophy of pushing through barriers to achieve lasting health.
Outside of the gym, Jim enjoys hiking, camping, and supporting the Blues. He is dedicated to making a difference in his clients’ lives, helping them enjoy more active and fulfilling lifestyles.
