Paul Floro is a seasoned ISSA and NCSF Certified Personal Trainer at the Creve Coeur Club, with a rich background in strength training, weight loss, functional fitness, rehabilitation, and sports conditioning. He holds additional certifications as an NCSF Strength Coach, Sports Nutrition Specialist, CrossFit Level 1 Trainer, and Silver Sneakers instructor. Paul’s deep commitment to fitness is driven by a philosophy that “movement is medicine,” which underscores his approach to training and wellness. Paul’s personal fitness journey has seen its ups and downs, from peak athletic condition to periods of deconditioning that led to weight gain and a lack of motivation. These experiences have not only shaped his fitness philosophy but also spurred him to pursue a Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Logan University, integrating his knowledge of movement and well-being into a holistic practice. In his training approach, Paul prioritizes active listening to understand his clients’ goals and challenges, providing support at their pace while ensuring accountability. His favorite mantras, such as “Strong mind, strong body,” and “Eat well, move well, think well,” reflect his holistic view of health, emphasizing the interconnectedness of physical activity, mental resilience, and overall well-being. Outside the gym, Paul enjoys fishing, building plastic models, and small project wrenching, which align with his meticulous and patient approach to both personal and professional life. Currently, he is completing his external clinical rotations for his chiropractic degree, demonstrating his ongoing commitment to enhancing his ability to improve others’ health and mobility.
